The Ethernet LAN card must be installed to provide the Broadband service.
If you have previously installed the Broadband connection software, it is necessary to remove the existing PPPoE Broadband connection software in advance before installing the RASPPPoE. In case you are using Windows 98SE operating system, you should first download and install the supported fix that is available on Microsoft homepage: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q243/1/99.ASP. After that you may start to install the RASPPPoE.
Please restart the PC in order to remove the existing Broadband connection software. Then follow the instructions in the Broadband Installation Guide to install the new Broadband connection software. |
