"i.Campus" Plan

CTM's i.Campus Service offers special service plan to teachers and students

• Student 56K Plan; Broadband Supplementary Plan and Student Broadband Plan is applicable to Primary and Secondary student in Macau
• Teacher/Post-Secondary Student Broadband Plan is applicable to teachers/staff of all secondary school, primary school and kindergartens. It is also extended to full time staff, full time under-graduate & post-graduate students currently working or studying in the University(s) / Institutes(s) that have signed Memorandum with CTM.

Tariff

* The service plans are only applicable to all secondary , primary & kindergarten students in Macao. Students must submit a valid student card issued by DSEJ for registration.

** Only applicable to full-time staff, full-time under-graduate & post-graduate students currently working or studying in the University(s) / Institute(s) that have signed a memorandum of understanding with CTM, and teachers / staff of all secondary schools, primary schools & kindergartens holding valid Teacher ID card or Staff ID card issued by DSEJ. Those Universities / Institutes that have signed memorandum of understanding with CTM include:

• University of Macau
• Macao Polytechnic Institute
• Institute for Tourism Studies
• Macau University of Science and Technology
• Macau Inter-University Institute
• Kiang Wu Nursing college

“i.Campus” Student 56K Plan

• Free Filtering Service is available. (Note 25)
• CTM will verify the subscriber's information through DSEJ each year. If subscriber leaves the school or graduates, the subscriber must apply for a service plan change to other service plan via CTM Shops. If CTM does not receive any application for change of service plan within 30 days from the graduation day, then CTM will automatically change the “i.Campus” Student 56K Plan to 56K Primary Plan without any prior notice.

“i.Campus” Student Broadband Supplementary Plan

• “i.Campus” Student Broadband Supplementary Plan is a subsidiary account on top of the existing Residential Broadband Account. Applicant must be an existing Broadband Customer
• This service plan is not applicable to Residential Broadband Elementary Plan.
• This service plan will make use of the existing Broadband line and equipment for Internet access. Both the existing Broadband user ID and the “i.Campus” Student Broadband Supplementary Plan user ID cannot access to Internet at the same time.
• Once the Applicant terminates the existing Residential Broadband service, the Broadband line and equipment will be recovered by CTM. The “i.Campus” Student Broadband Supplementary Plan shall also be terminated at the same time.
• CTM will verify the subscriber's information through DSEJ each year, if subscriber leaves the school or graduates, the subscriber must apply for a service plan change to other service plan via CTM Shops. If CTM does not receive any application for change of service plan within 30 days from the graduation day, then CTM will automatically cease the “i.Campus” Student Broadband Supplementary Plan without any prior notice.

“i.Campus” Student Broadband Plan

• New registration of "i.Campus Student Broadband Plan" must associate with application of Broadband Filtering Service or CTM must obtain the signature from student's Parents for exemption.
• CTM will verify the subscriber's information through DSEJ each year, if subscriber leaves the school or graduates, the subscriber must apply for a service plan change to other service plan via CTM Shops. If CTM does not receive any application for change of service plan within 30 days from the graduation day, then CTM will automatically change the “i.Campus” Student Broadband Plan to Residential Broadband Standard Plan without any prior notice.

“i.Campus” Teacher/Post-Secondary Student Broadband Plan

• CTM will verify the subscriber's information through the respective University / Institute each year. If subscriber leaves the University / Institute or graduates, subscriber must apply for a service plan change to other Broadband Plan via CTM shops. If CTM does not receive any application for changing plan within 30 days from the last employment date or the graduation date, CTM will automatically change the “i.Campus” Teacher/Post-Secondary Student Broadband Plan to Residential Broadband Standard Plan without any prior notice.

Remarks:

• Each applicant is limited to apply for one "i.Campus" Plan.
• Applicant must approach CTM counter for application.
• Each of the above "i.Campus" Plans includes one e-mail box.
  
  

Notes:

1. Customers are bounded by the Terms & Conditions of the Service provided by CTM at www.cyberctm.com.
2. Application must be submitted by the parents or guardian on behalf of the applicant who is below 18 years old.
3. The service bandwidth is not allowed to be shared directly or indirectly beyond the connection address for pecuniary, beneficial gains or any other purposes. The bandwidth (download/upload) speed will be influenced by the quantity of shared PC. CTM shall only perform on-site support to the provided software and hardware as listed in note 13.
4. The service is not applicable to ISP(s) except for internal use.
5. Total charge is equal to the sum of the monthly charge and the additional usage charge by hour after the free hours (if applicable) are used up.If the actual monthly usage is below the free usage hours included in the monthly usage charge, the monthly charges should be due.
6. The charging unit is one minute for duration.
7. The Customer can use disk space in server to store non-commercial data or files. If the data stored exceeds the free on-line data storage capacity, the Customer will be charged at the applicable rate.
8. All information that is considered as "Commercial", by its own nature, is prohibited be stored in this area.
9. Customer may apply to increase the E-mail box storage but is required to pay additional charge according to the approved tariff.
10. Customer has to apply in advance to increase e-mail storage.
11. Connection fee includes any necessary connection within CTM, configurations and the relative working processes in addition to the on-site installation of the ADSL modem, microfilter (if necessary) provided by CTM, ADSL modem lan cable (if applicable), and the necessary software configuration.
12. CTM shall only perform the installation of modem and microfilter provided by CTM. Customer is responsible for the installation of his own equipment. Broadband service will be provided only after all necessary equipment is properly installed.
13. Connection fee will be charged on the first bill of the Customer's accounts after successful connection. Customer who simultaneously applies for a new telephone line at the same address for Broadband service will be exempted with the connection charge of Broadband line. Customer thus is liable to pay only the connection fee of the new telephone line. This condition cannot apply concurrently with any promotional programme of CTM Fixed Line Telephone Service.
14. Connection fee is also applicable to removal of telephone line with Broadband service to another premises
15. The connection charge is applicable to Customer requesting for an ADSL line exclusively used for Broadband but without voice service provided.
16. CTM shall provide one Broadband Modem with Ethernet LAN Cable (with power adapter) and one Microfilter (if the Residential Broadband is provided through the existing telephone line of the customer). Maintenance service will only be provided to above equipment. Each additional Microfilter will be charged at the approved tariff
17. Upon termination of the Residential Broadband, the Customer should return the equipment provided by CTM in good condition. If any loss or damage beyond the normal wear-and-tear occurs, customer is liable to pay the cost of the provided equipment as follows:

    (i) Broadband Modem with Ethernet LAN Cable (MOP250)

    (ii) Power Adaptor of Broadband Modem (MOP100)

    (iii) Microfilter (MOP50)

18. CTM has the right to decide whether the loss or damages of equipment are under normal wear-and-tear.
19. Charge of each removal:
• to other premises using existing line is MOP350
• to other premises using new line is MOP500
• to other flat within the same building is MOP250
• within the same flat is MOP150
20. Broadband connection fee can be exempted when both fixed line and Broadband service are applied with removal at the same time.
21. Customer who has used at least one year of CTM Fixed Line Telephone Service, one year of Mobile Service or one year of Internet services with no termination of service (TOS) record and no current overdue debts towards CTM may be waived the deposit fee for the application of the Service.
22. CTM shall have the right anytime to require the Customer to provide a deposit to CTM as security payment of all charges hereunder for the use of the Broadband Services and for any loss of damage incurred or sustained by CTM as result of any non observance or non performance on the part of the customer of any terms, conditions or obligation under these terms and conditions. The amount of the deposit shall be determined by CTM at its sole discretion.
23. Deposit will be refunded automatically when:

    (a) Customer has subscribed Broadband for one year; or

    (b) Customer terminated Broadband

24. Prior to reconnecting the service, CTM may request a deposit to be made if service was disconnected due to outstanding payment.
25. Filtering service will filter those websites which contain sexual explicit materials, violent materials, drugs and alcohol abuse, sites promoting racial or religious discrimination, illegal gambling and extremism, etc. New sites appear all the time and the database of such websites is constantly updated.
