Time Flies——時光飛逝

    !! As we grow older, time seems to pass more quickly than when we were young.  Why?  When we are young, a year is a large percentage of our lives.  However, for an eighty-year-old person, one year may be only one percent of his or her lifetime.

    （隨着年齡增長，時間似乎比我們年輕時過得更快，為甚麼呢？當我們年輕時，一年是我們生活中很大部分。然而，對於一個八十歲的人來說，一年可能只是他一生的百分之一。）

    !! In 1390, Chaucer wrote in The Clerk's Tale: "For though we sleep or wake, or rome, or ryde, Ay fleeth the tyme, it nil no man abyde."
